The sky’s a flash of white And dust comes rushing through your hair So you cover your eyes, but you feel that I’m there: crashing through your ears; shaking the ground where you stand. I know I’m nothing that you want, but I just need you to live. Here I stand, poised with the Cosmic Gem granted by Lord Chromaticus, singing the song of life: your sonic savior, diatonic demigod. But you wish me away when you see I’m not like you. Orange glow from your window: A ball of fire decimates your walls. As the ash clears away, you catch glimpse of a man - A Tritonic Blade clasped in his burning hand. Now that you look death in the eye, you pray to who you reject Today is the day I live up to my fate. There he stands, poised with the Cosmic Gem granted for bravery and love. He swore to save us all. Our sonic savior, diatonic demigod. By the lone man’s call, all evil shall fall.

Your lights are on, and you’re not supposed to be home. The other voice is one that shouldn’t be known to you, and as I call on you, my so called friend, the thought of us will never happen again, so make your face up pretty, and wonder if I’ll leave you tonight. I don’t know, but this time around I might. Such a stubborn secret, but you’ll finally leave that closet. I’ve got the truth: this Goddamn lie was just no use. I shouldn’t even try. Just file me under “Gee, thanks for being a sucker!” No, you wouldn’t have a clue, but darling what’s a girl to do. (I shouldn’t even have given a second thought.) This isn’t what I wanted to give up on. While I’m here, we might as well take it on.

Whale Rodeo 03:14
Nowhere to go but down: Elevator to deep blue hell. I could kill you but I don’t need to anymore, because soon you’ll be swallowed by God. Inside there’s a sinking feeling; you won’t be able to complain. Now that we’re stranded in the sand, you’ll understand, this time we’re going to die. Everybody’s dead or well on their way. Does the outside world even know we’re here? And even if they did, would they care? I’ve got the will, but I can’t find my way. Inside there’s a sinking feeling; you won’t be able to complain. Now that we’re rotting away, It’s safe to say, this time we’re dead. Goodbye.
4.
So you say that they hurt your feelings. They may throw rocks at your house, but you’re here now in this moment. Nothing’s gonna drag you down. If winning isn’t everything then why do we keep score? So tell me, why do we keep score? You tell me all I wanna hear, and then you take it back from me, and you leave me wanting more. Don’t think too hard. Now’s not the time for that, no. You put up with all the bad stuff. You’re here with us tonight So you’re here now. We’ll play a breakdown so you don’t have to have one. This night is crazy; this night is insane, and it’s only just begun. It’s not just you. These are things everybody goes through. Don’t let me get close to you 'cause I'll love you, and it’s not just you, no.

What Love Is 04:01
I tend to treat it like a Rubik’s Cube, were there’s only one right answer, and half the world can’t seem to get it right. Oh, how I wish I was on the other half because I squared both sides, but I can’t seem to find the answer that’s right. I don’t know if I even know what love is. Is it something you know at first sight? Because I don’t trust my instincts telling me no one’s wrong and everybody’s right. Oh, how I wish I could learn to have a heart. My lungs are getting lonely. When I scream I can’t find the words to even start. I don’t know if I even know what love is I’ve seen it. Have I felt it? I’ve been loved. Have I dealt it?

Flat Six 03:41
Remedy a memory with a melody. Please wait for me, Emerald City. Hide away in the places they’ll never see. Burning thoughts, I’m reborn as an entity. There’s no place like home. I see the fog subsiding and feel the weight of the whole world set in. The walls now close around us. His eyes grow wide; he strokes his chin. I’m cornered; no escaping. Am I yours for the taking once again? There’s no place like home. Tonight I walk this brick road alone. Hide away the in places they’ll never see. Tearing me from safety, tearing into me.
7.
When I’m packed in this room, all that I can assume is a violation when they all fall asleep. Some spare change for this: the only thing I’ll ever miss. Send me straight on that same road for keeps. No need to worry - get the hell out of Jersey. We’ll make a break for L.A. The life I left there wasn’t going anywhere. I needed to find a place I could say I’m okay. It’s hard to fake doom when my head is a tomb as I throw communication away. This hurts my throat when I scream. Maybe this is a dream? Maybe I’ll hide it in my fake display. I was green with the envy, but now my hands are red. My heart’s in your hands, and it just stopped beating. I'll be okay someday.

I see it in the way you stare: your rhythm pulsing it in the air. Come over here and show me what you’ve got. You see, I’ve been waiting on the other side, wondering if you’d let me take you out for a ride. I’m usually not too shy, but you put me in a different state of mind. Girl, let me take you home tonight. Give me one chance to see you in the moonlight. I feel your rhythm getting close to mine. We’ll burn up the dance floor. It’s just you and I. This is not the way I foresaw this day. Nothing gold can stay. "Oh! Look at the time!" Attraction seemed so clear. That’s why I brought you here. You whisper in my ear, “I can crush you with my thighs!”
10.
The Room 05:30
Keep smiling now. You’ve done your job; I think you should get out. You’ve tied me up and dragged me down. There’s no looking back. You strangle these words right out of my mouth. I can’t go back; my mind's made up. You strangle these words right out of my mouth. This is where you had me feeling empty. It’s killing me: words that you never told me. It takes one spark to light the flame, but I won’t wait for you. You’ve got me wrapped in your noose tonight. I won’t be home. In your eyes I’ve fallen from the highest floor. I can’t express enough what a fool I was to ever let you get my love. This is where you had me feeling empty. It’s killing me, and breaking me down. There is a hole in my chest where my heart used to beat. It's been hollowed out and broken down. There’s no secret I can keep. You’re tearing me apart, Lisa Strangle these words right out of my mouth.
11.
My eyes are transfixed on yours. I can’t believe how well you stare. You’ve got a secret you won’t dare tell, well, Hell if I care. If you would keep your strength up, maybe you’ll reach some truth behind the words they say: you’re just a girl in yellow shoes. But you won’t tell me what you know. I know, because I didn’t want your sympathy to remind me what life is for. Maybe if I made you breakfast, we could sit and figure this out. Out of your mind, I know, and you can’t help it. You’re on a mission, “killing spree” and it works for me, but you’re running out of battery and falling down. Now that you told me what you know. I know, because I didn’t want your sympathy to remind me what life is for. Peel back your shoes and watch you glow. (Can’t have these bullets falling) Can’t miss an easy target. (Don’t tell me what you know) No matter where this goes. (I didn’t want your sympathy) I’m crawling back to my bed tonight, but I might be gone tomorrow. “The vending machine says hi” I didn’t want your sympathy. It’s meaningless.
12.
I thought I heard the music of the spheres ringing around me, surrounding me with tales of old. Bending over, he whispered this in my ear: "Wield ye a dimmer one, not the globe made of gold." (With a voice from the dark on a face made of gold) He wore a cloak of silver, and maybe I could see so much better if he had just let the bloodstain dry and settle, but all his splendor fooled me all this time. So I let it fall: Rolling away from me but I could not let it go. I've no more will at all. I gave my everything to be far from the sidelines and be divine. As it fell from my fingers, he pulled off his cloak. The glowing image of pride arose from the smoke. (Beauty can kill a man faster than the darkest smoke.) Will it come again if I speak the words, but I don’t pretend that this is all I see: a mirror image of something that will never be for me? So I let it fall.
